About This Spot

Stepping into Bamboo Club on Clark Street feels like discovering a spirited hideaway that balances the buzz of city life with a relaxed, unhurried pace. The space pulses with an inviting energy—where laughter floats over good music and the hum of conversations creates a warm tapestry of local, familiar faces and new friends alike. Its lively yet approachable vibe makes it easy to settle in, whether you’re winding down after a day out or gearing up for an evening with a vibrant soundtrack curated by a thoughtfully spinning DJ.

The atmosphere dances between casual and festive, drawing in those who appreciate a spot where the flow of the night isn’t rushed but ever-evolving. The outdoor seating area is a bright, breezy extension, perfect for people-watching or enjoying a casual bite when the weather allows. Indoors, the mood shifts seamlessly with the crowd, offering a sense of connection without overwhelming the senses.

Drinks here feel like their own kind of ritual—colorful cocktails balancing classic favorites and fun frozen twists, offering something to match every mood. Guests often find themselves delighting in everything from expertly crafted martinis to tropical frozen concoctions that bring a touch of escape to the night. Pairing these with shareable plates or a comforting pizza feels natural, as if the menu is designed more around moments to savor and share rather than just a meal to finish.

It’s a place where the little touches—like accommodating families with high chairs or creating lively spaces for after-work socializing—come together to make every visit feel thoughtful and unpretentious.

Bamboo Club embodies the joy of the neighborhood bar that invites you to slow down, connect, and enjoy the evening’s unfolding stories, all woven together by good drinks, good food, and a good vibe in one of Chicago’s livelier pockets.

Very cool and trendy bar. We went for a v5 Thirsty Thursday Event and it wasn’t too too busy which was good for pandemic reasons. Though toward the end of our reservation time it seemed to get busier. The DJ was good and put on some good mixes. Service was nice and welcoming, though I food did take a longer time than we’re accustomed to but it wasn’t a too big of an issue. I will say for the price this place is leaning on the overpriced side but the style and aesthetic of the restaurant is cool.

My wife and I went to see Pearl Jam at Wrigley - our first time. Stopped in the Bamboo Club for some food and drinks. The atmosphere was amazing since Pearl Jam was blasting the whole time :-) We had lettuce wraps and a chicken quesadillas. Both were quite good highly recommended. Cool bar w a fun vibe.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place during one of our walks and stopped there because it looked so amazing, they had a high chair for my baby. Outdoor seating was so cool, the music was really good, and the food was super delicious. Our waiter was really upbeat and super helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting

Such an amazing Happy Hour experience with a variety of specials to elevate your evenings. Indulge in refreshing $4 High Noons, savor the festive vibes with $5 Mistletoe Mix Cocktails, or opt for the classic $6 Patron Margaritas. The $7 Frozens (my favorite was piña colada) add a cool twist to your choices. I paired my drinks with 1/2 Off Pizzas (my choice was four cheese and it was delicious) for a delightful combination. The festive Christmas decorations create a warm ambiance, and the service is truly exceptional. Don't miss out on these fantastic deals, available Monday to Friday from 4-6pm. It’s a perfect spot to unwind after a long day!
